Tonight we honored high school graduates Kirsten Lowe and Daniel Pearson, and college graduate Beth Anne Crookshank with the Word, ice cream sundaes and a present or two. Beth Anne couldn’t be with us, but she was certainly in our hearts.<\/p>\n

Pastor Crookshank started the evening with a prayer and these words of wisdom for our graduates:<\/p>\n

\n

…that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God; there is no other. Let your heart therefore be loyal to the LORD our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day. (1 Kings 8:60–61—NKJV)<\/cite><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This was followed by a round of heart-felt prayers from those in attendance: prayers for wisdom, protection, and success as our graduates go on (or back) to college.<\/p>\n

While our grads opened their presents, we enjoyed watching them and fellowshipping with our brothers and sisters. Some of us may have had seconds on the ice cream, who knows?<\/p>\n
